Olivia Rodrigo, the artist behind the song "Drop Dead," recently discussed an unusual aspect of her touring experience during an interview on KISS FM UK. While promoting her new album, "You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love," she revealed that some dedicated fans resort to wearing diapers in order to maintain their front-row positions at her concerts.

"I have been to certain concerts and certain festivals where people wear diapers so that they can be front row of the show," Rodrigo explained. "And that’s been an experience as a performer that I have smelled," she added, highlighting the unique and somewhat surprising dedication of her fans.

The hosts of the show, Tyler West and Chloe Burrows, were reportedly taken aback by Rodrigo's revelation, which came in response to a question about the worst place she had to relieve herself. Instead of addressing that directly, Rodrigo shifted the focus to the phenomenon of fans wearing diapers.

This topic is not new for Rodrigo. During her performance at the BST Hyde Park Festival, she encountered a fan holding a sign that read, "Wearing diapers for the front row." Rather than being shocked, Rodrigo embraced the moment, asking the crowd, "Is that true? Did you guys wear diapers? You’re wearing a diaper right now to be in the front row? Wow. That is actually amazing. I love you. Thank you for doing that. That’s crazy."

Rodrigo expressed her fascination with this commitment, stating, "Like the [Times Square] Ball Drop on New Year’s Eve, everyone is wearing diapers, they sit there all day. I think about it kind of often."

The trend of fans wearing diapers is not exclusive to Rodrigo's concerts. Reports indicate that during Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, some fans also admitted to wearing diapers to avoid missing any part of her lengthy three-hour performances.
