Julia Roberts Spotted with Her Children in NYC, Son Henry Stands Tall
Julia Roberts was seen in New York City with her children, where her son Henry, now 19, appeared to have outgrown her. The family outing included daughter Hazel and stylist Serge Normant.
On Friday, actress Julia Roberts was seen in New York City enjoying a rare family outing with two of her three children. During this outing, her 19-year-old son, Henry, was notably taller than her, standing head and shoulders above the Oscar-winning actress.
Roberts was photographed outside the historic Jane Hotel, appearing radiant in a black suit complemented by a string of pearls and glasses, while she engaged in conversation with her family members.
During their walk, Roberts affectionately wrapped her arm around Henry's waist. Joining them was her 21-year-old daughter, Hazel, along with the actress's hair stylist, Serge Normant.
Henry is currently a student at the Pratt Institute located in Manhattan, while Hazel is pursuing her studies at Trinity College Dublin. Their twin brother, Phinnaeus, who is also 21, was not present during this outing as he is studying at the University of California, Berkeley. Additionally, Roberts' husband, cinematographer Danny Moder, was absent from the gathering.
Henry is the youngest child of Julia Roberts and Danny Moder, who married in 2002. In November, Roberts shared a nostalgic throwback photo on Instagram to celebrate the 21st birthday of her twins, captioning it with, "These game changers, life alterers, [heart] expanders once were 1 and now are 21! That was fast." The post featured a snapshot of the siblings as toddlers in matching high chairs.
In May 2025, Danny Moder posted a heartfelt Mother's Day tribute on Instagram, sharing a photo of Roberts surrounded by their grown children, captioning it with, "Mothers make the coolest stuff. Love these guys."
In a 2022 interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Roberts expressed that despite her successful career, her greatest fulfillment comes from her family. She remarked, "The life that I have built with my husband, [and] the life that we’ve built with our children, that’s the best stuff. To come home at the end of the day, triumphantly, to them."
