Julia Roberts Spotted with Family in NYC as Son Henry Celebrates 19th Birthday
Julia Roberts was seen in New York City with her son Henry and daughter Hazel, showcasing a family outing where her son appeared to have outgrown her.
Julia Roberts was recently seen in New York City enjoying a rare family outing with two of her three children. The actress was photographed outside the historic Jane Hotel with her 19-year-old son, Henry, who noticeably stood head and shoulders above her.
This sighting occurred just a day after Henry's 19th birthday. Roberts, who is 58 years old, looked radiant in a black suit complemented by a string of pearls and a pair of glasses as she engaged in conversation with her family.
During their walk, Roberts affectionately wrapped her arm around Henry's waist. She was also accompanied by her 21-year-old daughter, Hazel, and the family's hair stylist, Serge Normant.
Henry is currently a student at the Pratt Institute in Manhattan, while Hazel is pursuing her studies at Trinity College Dublin. Their twin brother, Phinnaeus, was not present during this outing as he is studying at the University of California, Berkeley. The family outing was also without Roberts' husband, cinematographer Danny Moder, whom she married in 2002.
In November, Roberts shared a nostalgic throwback photo on Instagram celebrating the twins' milestone 21st birthday, captioning it, "These game changers, life alterers, [heart] expanders once were 1 and now are 21! That was fast." The post featured a snapshot of the siblings in matching high chairs as toddlers.
Earlier this year, Moder posted a heartfelt Mother’s Day tribute on Instagram with a photo of their grown children surrounding Roberts, writing, "Mothers make the coolest stuff. Love these guys."
In a 2022 interview with CBS Sunday Morning, Roberts expressed that despite her successful acting career, her true fulfillment comes from her family life. She stated, "The life that I have built with my husband, [and] the life that we’ve built with our children, that’s the best stuff. To come home at the end of the day, triumphantly, to them."
