Jane Seymour, 75, Shares Secrets to Natural Aging and Personal Milestones

By Alex Rivera 1 month ago

Jane Seymour, at 75, reveals her approach to aging naturally, embracing her age while celebrating new career and personal achievements, including her engagement to John Zambetti.

Jane Seymour, the star known for her role in "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman," expressed her satisfaction with aging without cosmetic enhancements. At 75 years old, she shared her philosophy on aging naturally, emphasizing her choice to avoid treatments such as lasers and fillers.

During an exclusive interview with Page Six at the 2026 Songwriters Hall of Fame Gala earlier this month, Seymour remarked, "This is what happens," and humorously added that she isn’t aiming to look like she’s 30 at her current age. "I mean, maybe 60 would be nice," she quipped.

Seymour elaborated on her acting career, stating, "I’ve been playing a lot of older women," and highlighted that her performances focus more on authentic emotion rather than glamour. She believes that to convey genuine feelings, it is essential for every muscle to function properly.

The actress expressed that she is experiencing one of the happiest times in her life, noting various professional and personal milestones. "I’m on a show that I love, ‘Harry Wild,’ my fifth season," she mentioned, acknowledging the rarity of having a series at her age. She also mentioned starting a new film project in Australia later this year and hosting a one-woman art show in New Jersey.

Seymour debuted her latest collection of watercolor paintings at the "Vibrant Visions and Healing Hearts" exhibit, which took place from June 12-14 at Ocean Galleries in Stone Harbor, New York.

In addition to her artistic endeavors, Seymour is celebrating her recent engagement to singer-songwriter John Zambetti after three years of dating. She shared her joy with Us Weekly, stating, "Someone decided they wanted to be with me for the rest of their lives. My singer-songwriter."

She described her relationship with Zambetti, saying, "He’s still writing music and now I [have] become his muse. So now I have a singer-songwriter in the house, which is amazing." This engagement marks Seymour’s fifth marriage, as she was previously married to theater director Michael Attenborough from 1971 to 1973, author Geoffrey Planer from 1977 to 1978, business manager David Flynn from 1981 to 1992, and actor James Keach from 1993 to 2015.

Seymour first publicly acknowledged her relationship with Zambetti on Instagram in October 2023.
