Corey Feldman was hospitalized following a medical emergency on June 15 while traveling to Los Angeles after a tour event celebrating the 40th anniversary of 'Stand by Me.'
Corey Feldman, the actor known for his role in 'Stand by Me,' was hospitalized on June 15 after experiencing a medical emergency during a flight to Los Angeles. His publicist confirmed the incident to USA TODAY.

Upon landing at Los Angeles International Airport, the 54-year-old Feldman was met by paramedics. His representative stated that he was subsequently admitted to a nearby hospital, where he was advised to rest overnight while awaiting MRI results.

E! News has reached out to Feldman's representative for additional comments but has not yet received a response.

Feldman was traveling to Los Angeles after attending a 'Stand by Me Live' tour stop in Chicago, which celebrated the 40th anniversary of Rob Reiner’s 1986 classic film. Although the Chicago event on June 14 was initially intended to mark the end of the tour, Feldman announced that the positive turnout from fans might allow for additional dates to be added in the future.

However, just a day later, he clarified that the tour had officially concluded. On June 15, he posted on Instagram, expressing regret that the weekend was the final set of shows for the anniversary tour, but also hinted at the possibility of more dates due to the overwhelming support from fans.

In a previous interview, Feldman discussed his feelings about being excluded from a tribute at the 2026 Oscars for Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, who were tragically murdered in their home in December 2025. He described the situation as feeling like a family reunion he was not invited to, but chose not to dwell on his emotions regarding the matter.

Feldman said, "Instead, I just want to say that I’m with the rest of us, we’re all very destroyed that things went down the way they did, losing Rob when we all thought he’d be joining us at some point for this tour." He emphasized his commitment to honoring Reiner's legacy through the tour and other public engagements.

In addition to Feldman’s situation, a section of the article discusses various health scares experienced by other celebrities, including Brianna LaPaglia, Nikki Garcia, and Lupita Nyong'o, highlighting the importance of health awareness in the entertainment industry.
